Graph View Enhancements

The template includes optimized Obsidian graph view settings and CSS enhancements for better visualization:

Features:

  • Color-coded folders: Standard template folders (01-Projects, 02-Areas, etc.) are automatically colored
  • Improved node labeling: Clearer, more readable node labels with subtle background
  • Enhanced link visualization: Subtle but visible connections that highlight on hover
  • Better node interaction: Nodes enlarge slightly on hover for easier selection
  • Optimized physics: Adjusted forces for less cluttered, more organic layouts
  • Depth perception: Slight text fading for distant nodes
  • Orphan highlighting: Dashed borders on orphan nodes for easy identification

To Enable:

  1. The graph-enhancements.css snippet is already installed in .obsidian/snippets/
  2. Enable it via: Settings → Appearance → CSS snippets
  3. The graph settings in .obsidian/graph.json are pre-configured for optimal viewing

Standard Folder Colors:

  • 🔵 01-Projects: Blue (#4facfe)
  • 🌸 02-Areas: Pink (#ff9ff3)
  • 🌟 03-Resources: Yellow (#feca57)
  • 🔴 04-Archives: Red (#ff6b6b)
  • 💙 Templates: Cyan (#48dbfb)
  • 🍊 00-Inbox: Orange (#ff9f43)
  • 💜 Skills: Purple (#bb86fc)
  • 🟢 Daily Notes: Teal (#00b894)

Note: These colors are assigned based on folder names/tags. Notes not in these folders will use default theme colors.
